What is the TEACCH method?

TEACCH (Treatment and Education of Autistic and related Communication-handicapped Children) is a pedagogical approach that builds on visual structure and predictability. The method was developed for people with autism spectrum disorder — but works for anyone who needs clear everyday structure. The core of the TEACCH method is five dimensions ("teacch 5 dimensions"):
Physical structure, daily schedule, work systems, visual information and routines.
