Asuva Oy: Successful ERP project completed ahead of schedule

Challenge

Asuva Oy, a growing property development and construction company based in Tampere, needed a system that could better support its business as the company continued to grow. While cost control was already working well, there was room for improvement on the revenue side and in gaining a clearer overview of financial data.

Solution

EG Jydacom was implemented in October 2025. The implementation focused on supporting Asuva’s property development business, including purchase and sales invoice processing, project margin tracking, accounting, monitoring committed costs, and optimising working capital. The next step is to introduce cash flow forecasting.

Results

The new system has given Asuva a clearer and more up-to-date overview of its financial situation. Invoice processing has become smoother, reporting is more transparent, and the management team expects high-quality forecasts to bring significant annual savings.

Asuva Oy is a fast-growing construction company from Tampere with a turnover of around EUR 10 million. The company builds high-quality new developments and wants to ensure that its growth remains financially controlled.

CEO Ville Kaseva and CFO Jaana Puntala already had a clear understanding of what a good ERP system should be able to deliver. Puntala had previous experience with similar systems, which made it clear that the logic of the old solution no longer fully met the company’s everyday needs.

Asuva’s management allocated enough time and resources to the project, while the EG Jydacom team showed a genuine desire to keep things moving forward.

Communication worked very well throughout the process. Questions were answered quickly, and it was clear that the implementation team had both the time and the motivation to bring the project successfully to completion.

Since the implementation, CFO Jaana Puntala has used EG Jydacom daily. The practical improvements are especially visible in three areas:

  • The overall view is always up to date. Project finances, accounting, margin tracking, project management, and sales are all gathered in one place, making reporting significantly clearer.

  • Information is traceable. Project finances can be monitored both in EG Jydacom and Procountor, making it easier to identify the root causes of changes and quickly find the source of information when needed.

  • Invoice processing is smoother. Purchase invoices move through a simpler view, and the approval process is clear. It is also very easy to drill down into the original invoice directly in EG Jydacom.

From a finance perspective, Puntala says she gets everything she needs from the system. She highlights EG Jydacom’s user-friendliness, logical structure, and real-time data as key benefits. The system makes it easier to trust the current situation and form a clear overall picture. Asuva has also achieved cost savings by switching to a more flexible system.

Next step: More profitable business through forecasting

The implementation has been carried out in phases, aligned with the cycles of the construction business. The next phase is to introduce cash flow forecasting, which is expected to create strong opportunities for significant cost savings.

One of EG Jydacom’s strengths is the quality and volume of data collected from construction sites and financial processes. This provides a strong foundation for learning from system data and working with different scenarios.

According to CEO Ville Kaseva, the more similar projects the company has, the more comparison data it can collect. This makes it easier to forecast billing cycles. Asuva expects EG Jydacom to significantly improve business profitability.

The tools for cash optimisation are already in place. Payment schedules, phased forecasting, and the use of data from previous projects are all part of the system. Choosing the right ERP system today is also about preparing for the future. As AI solutions begin to transform everyday work in the construction industry, the quality of the data available to AI will become increasingly important.
