EG is recruiting Carolina Wachtmeister as VP Product within the company's Facility & Energy Management business area. With a background as CEO of Zynka and Deputy Managing Director at Newsec Sweden, she will be tasked with driving growth across the Nordics.
EG's Facility & Energy Management business area serves property owners and facility managers with systems for energy monitoring, operations and property optimisation. The business area is now bringing together energy analytics, maintenance planning and solutions for both technical facility management and workplace optimisation into a unified offering. The push is driven by tightening energy reporting requirements, increased digitalisation and a growing need for data-driven decision-making in property management.
Carolina brings a market perspective and industry understanding that is hard to build in a short time. She knows how the Nordic property market works and where it is heading, and has experience with acquisitions and growth that is directly relevant to what we are building now. That is exactly the combination we need at this stage, particularly as we scale our Nordic presence and accelerate the rollout of solutions that have already proven themselves in other markets.
Carolina Wachtmeister joins from roles in business development and leadership in the property sector, most recently as CEO of Zynka and Deputy Managing Director of Newsec Sweden's property management operations. She also has a background from EY and PayPal, with experience spanning management consulting and fintech.
It is about offering the market products that integrate smoothly into day-to-day operations and continuously provide insights that lead to more efficient management. There is a lot to gain from better data and analytics, but the real synergies emerge when solutions work seamlessly together and are easy to adopt.
Carolina Wachtmeister takes up her position in May 2026.
