Vestre Viken offers digital home follow-up via CheckWare for patients undergoing home dialysis, either peritoneal dialysis (PD) or home hemodialysis (HD). Patients complete a weekly self-registration form, and healthcare personnel review the responses to adjust treatment as needed. Two-way message exchange between patient and provider is also available, and for PD patients using a night machine, treatment data is transferred directly to the hospital.

The service provides patients with flexible and close follow-up while allowing healthcare personnel to continuously monitor the treatment and intervene when necessary.
