The Digital Surgical Clinic allows for closer follow-up of the patient in connection with surgery. By digitizing routines related to form responses at the clinic, the patient will experience more flexibility by not having to attend physically at the hospital and can be followed up at home. At the same time, healthcare personnel will experience having more time for patient treatment and less need for administrative work.

About the service

The Digital Surgical Clinic uses content packages for distributing information related to treatments. This enables the use of interactive informational materials in patient follow-up. The content packages consist, for example, of videos, PDF brochures, and textual information.

The planning tool in CheckWare is used for automated dispatch of assessments, SMS notifications, and informational materials in connection with surgery or treatment. Assessments are used for surgical evaluation, self-declaration forms are used before surgery and for follow-up after surgery. The patient can report their need for contact with healthcare personnel and will be called for further follow-up.

Based on the need for follow-up in the different treatments, target times are set in the assessment plans, and the allocation of measurement instruments occurs at selected intervals.

The Digital Surgical Clinic uses several standardized assessment tools and measurement instruments in treatments, as well as proprietary forms adapted to the treatment.
