With Network and Information Security (NIS2) Directive law entry into force in Denmark on 1st July 2025, EG is proud to announce that our program to achieve compliance with NIS2 requirements has been successfully completed. 

Over last years, EG has been working diligently on the implementation of state-of-the-art security tools, improving security processes and practices as well as increasing resilience of our services. One of our Security Strategy goals was achieving NIS2 compliance and NIS2 requirements were addressed in completed initiatives focused on enhancing the areas such as security risk management framework, supply chain management processes, incident management and reporting capabilities, disaster recovery measures and others.  

This achievement isn't just about meeting regulatory requirements; it is a testament to our commitment to robust cybersecurity practices and providing security to our customers. We are very proud of the efforts and investments made and the effects of the security journey that we embarked upon.
