You won recognition for first-class occupational safety back in May 2023. How has Zeroni influenced safety management and development at your company?
— Zeroni plays a major role in developing safety on Fira's construction sites. TR measurements and safety observations are handled conveniently on tablets and mobile phones. Many TR systems are just digital forms and don't guide operations in any better direction in any way, says Safety Manager Teemu Latva.
Your accident frequency rate is at a record low of just 8.07 accidents per million working hours. What measures does such a low accident frequency rate require in practice on site, and how does Zeroni support this?
— Zeroni functions in daily safety management and brings data-driven leadership into the everyday life of the site. With Zeroni, site operations are transparent, safety deviations become visible to everyone, and as a result it is possible to react to them in time and monitor that deficiencies are corrected. Our TR target level is 95% and we regularly exceed the target, Latva says proudly.
How do you ensure that safety stays at the highest level on your sites?
— We approach safety ambitiously and monitor the implementation of safety processes with our own metrics to ensure that things are working. Zeroni provides direct data on how many safety deficiencies occur among contractors, and the matter can be raised in contract negotiations with contractors.
