GRK is one of the largest infrastructure construction companies in Finland, specialising in bridge and transport infrastructure, paving, rail construction, and environmental services.
At GRK, the goal was to move away from outdated systems and bring safety management and external contractor management together under one platform. Going forward, Zeroni will streamline the management and monitoring of external workforce across GRK’s sites, while making essential information accessible to all project stakeholders. The pilot began in summer 2022, and the solution is now used across more than 40 sites throughout Finland.
“Zeroni simplifies the induction process on-site, and now both our own employees’ and subcontractors’ data are available in one place. For example, employee reports are automatically submitted to the tax authorities directly from the system. On longer projects, we’ve also been able to transfer responsibility for submitting employee data to contractors, which makes everyday work easier for our site managers. Compared to previous systems, Zeroni is more modern, continuously evolving, and better suited to our current needs,” says Teija Kirvesniemi, HSEQ Manager at GRK.
With Zeroni’s onboarding process, infrastructure projects can achieve significant efficiency gains, as site management can spend less time on compliance tasks and more on productive work.
