New sales director to strengthen digitalization in the construction industry
Michael Storm is the new Sales Director for Construction & Property at EG. With strong competencies and many years of experience in digitalization and sales, he will help make the construction industry's digital transformation even simpler – and more efficient.
"Our goal is clear: To help construction companies make the complex simple. Digitalization must never become a barrier – on the contrary, it should be an easy and valuable part of everyday life, both for our smaller and larger construction customers," says Michael Storm, EG's new Sales Director for Construction & Property in Denmark and Norway.
He comes from a position as Sales Manager at Foss IQX, where he led the growth of the SaaS business with responsibility for the sales organization across both EMEA and Asia. Previously, he has worked with digitalization and sales optimization in a number of larger companies.
Digitalization as a Lever for Sustainability
Charlotte Møller Andersen, SVP in Construction & Property, adds: "As a software provider with extensive industry knowledge, EG wants to help shape the future of construction by delivering innovative, user-friendly solutions that enhance companies’ profitability – both today and tomorrow. With Michael’s insight and customer focus, I am pleased to welcome him to the team."
Top priority for me is that customers are always an active part of the innovation
"It’s about holding their hand all the way and ensuring that their experience with EG’s digital tools is as simple as possible."
EG provides software solutions for all processes in the construction industry and supports both smaller craft firms, larger contractors, consultants, and developers in meeting the increasing demands for documentation and sustainability.
Construction must be better and smarter
According to the latest Construction Maturity Survey 2025, 3 out of 4 construction companies believe that technology can help them meet climate requirements and promote sustainability. This is exactly where EG wants to play an even bigger role.
"From July 1st, construction companies must comply with new tightened CO2 emission requirements – CO2 footprints must be calculated down to individual materials and also for the construction site. Here, our solutions can make a real difference, for example with LCA calculations," says Michael Storm.
With the hiring of Michael Storm, EG aims to strengthen its role as a digital frontrunner in the construction industry – and continue the work of making complex requirements manageable for customers:
We must help our customers be compliant while supporting their business. When we combine innovation with simplicity, we can contribute to a construction industry that is both smarter and more sustainable.
