Systematic Energy Analysis Unlocks 15% Savings

This use case demonstrates how EG EnerKey, together with EG Ines, enabled a property portfolio to systematically reduce energy consumption and achieve measurable savings.

At the beginning of 2024, a systematic process for monitoring and analyzing energy consumption was launched with EG EnerKey and Ines. Instead of ad-hoc fixes, the focus was on continuous, data-driven improvements. 

Actions included optimizing ventilation timetables, adjusting supply air temperatures, refining heating curves, and repairing technical failures in ventilation and other equipment. Importantly, most measures required no upfront investment. 

The impact was clear: within the first 12 months, consumption fell by 15% (1,340 MWh), corresponding to the annual energy use of 75 single-family homes. Cost savings reached €110,000, exceeding even the initial potential estimated by Ines.
