EG appoints Henrik Fabrin to drive the next generation of industry-specific AI software
EG has appointed Henrik Fabrin as Head of Product for EG Intelligence, effective 1 June. He will lead the product development of EG Intelligence, EG's AI platform.
EG's industry-specific AI agents are already live with a number of EG's 47,000 customers across the Nordics. General practitioners save 1 to 2 hours of administration per day. AI agents answer the phone for busy tradespeople. Intelligent assistants support daily customer service in housing administration.
2025 was the year we got the foundation in place. Now we are putting AI to work for our customers across their workflows. Henrik has a strong understanding of how AI can create value for customers and for Nordic society. That is exactly what we need as we become the partner that addresses the full AI agenda with our customers - from what is happening in their workflows today to the ecosystem they will build on tomorrow.
AI that knows your industry
EG's industry-specific AI agents know the patient record system, the order book and the case management workflow. Henrik Fabrin's task is to develop that further and ensure that EG addresses customers' full AI agenda across the systems and workflows that define their business.
With Nordic infrastructure, operations within EU frameworks and transparency on data processing, customers should be able to use the best AI technology on the market without being locked in and without compromising on where their data resides or who has access to it.
We are strong where our customers know us - in the industry-specific solutions that drive their core workflows. The next step is to be equally strong across the board. Our ambition is to be the partner that connects customers' workflows - regardless of which systems are involved. That is what Henrik has been appointed to drive.
Henrik Fabrin joins from the position of Head of AI at the Confederation of Danish Industry (DI), where he has worked with AI transformation across industries. He has previously founded three companies and built products from scratch. At EG, he will work closely with the business units' product directors and sales teams, as well as EG's central AI team.
What drew me to EG is the combination of genuine industry knowledge, a large customer base and a clear position that AI must be industry-specific and European in its foundations. The foundation is there. Now it is about bringing it together.
